Our mission is to provide resources, programs and education to promote adoption and care of homeless pets in Rowlett and the Lake Ray Hubbard area.
FRAs’ vision is a world where every companion animal has a safe and loving forever home.
Your support directly affects the lives of pets through:
- Heartworm Program: Heartworm treatment is very costly to a new adopter. FRAs ensures that every heartworm positive dog from the Rowlett Shelter receives treatment at no charge.
- Trap, Neuter, Return: FRAs is excited to assist registered colony managers with loaning traps and providing vouchers for spay/neuter services. Our goal is to end the cycle of overpopulation in our feral cat communities.
- Foster Program: FRAs foster program helps keep cats from being at risk at the shelter.
- Emergency Vetting: When pets come into the Rowlett or Garland shelter in need, FRAs is dedicated to assisting with proper medical treatment.
